A contract between you and PHC Parts for the purchase of Goods will only be formed when we send a dispatch confirmation email confirming that the Goods have been shipped.

Until that time, we reserve the right to decline or cancel any order for any reason.

We reserve the right to cancel, refuse or limit any order at our sole discretion, including after payment has been made but before dispatch, for reasons such as:

10. Cancellation and Returns

(a) Consumers

Consumers have the right to cancel most online purchases within 14 calendar days beginning on the day after receipt of the Goods, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

To exercise this right, the Consumer must notify the Seller by email or in writing within the cancellation period.

The Goods must be returned within 14 days of notifying the Seller of cancellation.

Unless the Goods are faulty, incorrectly supplied or otherwise required by law, the Consumer is responsible for the cost of returning the Goods.

Returned Goods must be complete and in a condition consistent with reasonable inspection. The Seller reserves the right to make a deduction from any refund where the value of the Goods has been diminished through handling beyond that reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

The right to cancel does not apply to Goods exempted under applicable legislation, including specially ordered, personalised, made-to-order or custom-manufactured Goods.

(b) Business Customers

Orders accepted from Business Customers may not be cancelled unless agreed in writing by the Seller.

Any agreed cancellation or return may be subject to a restocking charge of up to 20% of the invoice value.

Goods must be received by the Seller in resaleable condition within 14 days of return authorisation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Outward carriage charges are non-refundable and the Seller reserves the right to charge collection, recovery, handling, inspection or administrative costs where applicable.

Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), electrical and electronic control components, special-order items, non-stock items and Goods obtained specifically at the Buyer’s request may not be cancelled or returned unless faulty or incorrectly supplied.

The Seller accepts no responsibility where Goods are ordered following an incorrect diagnosis of a fault. Responsibility for diagnosis, specification, compatibility and selection of replacement parts remains with the Buyer.

(c) Refunds

For Consumer purchases, refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the returned Goods or evidence that the Goods have been returned, whichever occurs first.

For Business Customers, authorised refunds will be processed within a reasonable period following inspection and acceptance of the returned Goods.

Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

The Seller reserves the right to withhold refunds until returned Goods have been received or satisfactory evidence of return has been provided.
