Tech Tips
Commercial Appliance Parts > Buderus
Formed in 1731, Buderus began producing cast stove and oven plates before beginning to manufacture cast iron boilers in the late 19th century. The Buderus range of products continued to develop before the organisation became part of the Bosch group in 2003 (as BBT Thermotechnik) following the merger of Buderus Heiztechnik and Bosch Thermotechnik, a merger completed following the acquisition of UK oil-fired boiler manufacturer Boulter boilers by Buderus as part of their growth in the oil heating technology market.
Today Buderus remain a leading producer of residential and commercial heating products, including wall hung gas condensing and floor standing gas and oil boilers, hot water storage cylinders and renewable energy systems.
