Product Description

The 22mm automatic bypass valve is designed for use in domestic central heating systems.

Fitting an auto by-pass valve offers several advantages:

  • It ensures a minimum flow rate through the boiler
  • Reduces system noise and improves efficiency
  • Aids the quiet operation of thermostatic radiator valves

Auto bypass valves open and close automatically depending on system load. When the radiator TRV's are open and 'calling for heat' the ABV remains closed allowing the full output of the boiler and pump to circulate through the system. As TRV's close down the auto by pass valve will open, allowing water to flow through the by-pass circuit.
