Product Title | Pipe Freeze Spray, Expert Range XP-FREEZE, 400ml Aerosol |
---|
Product Description
Pipe Freeze or XP-FREEZE is the expert's choice for freezing copper, lead, iron, steel and polythene pipes.
Pipe Freeze is used to form an ice plug in existing pipework, enabling repairs without needing to drain the system and cut off water supply.
Ensure that all circulating pumps are powered off, and all water in the system is static and cold. Once you have fitted a freezing jacket to the pipework, insert the aerosol straw into the hole, and spray for the correct time, as detailed in the freezing guide. If pipework is vertical, ensure the bottom of jacket is secured, and spray from top. When plug has formed, wait 5 minutes before starting work. Once completed, remove freezing jacket and wait for pipe to completely defrost before restarting system.
