Product Description
This plastic coated guard is designed to be used to protect external overflow pipes from damage and to provide protection for boiler hot water pressure relief valve (safety valve) discharge pipes. As well as offering protection from scolding, the guard keeps the overflow pipe visible in accordance with the building regulations.
The general principle quoted in the building regulations approved documents G3 is “where children may play or otherwise come into contact with discharges a wire cage or similar guard is positioned to prevent contact, whilst maintaining visibility”
