Product Description

Hardie Backer board is the perfect choice for tile backing board in moist or mould sensitive areas such as bathrooms, en-suites, kitchens and utility rooms. 

Made from 90% Portland cement and sand, Hardy backing board has the highest bend strength (modulus of rupture) and upto 3 times the compressive strength of competing cement boards. The board is easy to install and cut, with clean edges allowing for perfect alignment. 

Hardie backerboard is also A1 non-combustible classified, making it perfect for use as a register plate for wood burning stove installations.  The board is easy to cut, suitable for painting or tiling directly onto and will withstand temperatures of upto 100 Deg C, the backing board of choice for HETAS registered stove installers.
