Product Description
The Robokit Compact vessel kit offers a smart solution for the installation of new and replacement boiler expansion vessels.
Thanks to its slim profile design, the vessel can be easily installed into a kitchen cupboard, airing cupboard or in other small spaces elsewhere in the property.
The kit consists of the following:-
1x Flat 12 Litre expansion vessel with mounting bracket
1x 5-way connection manifold
1x pressure relief valve with pressure gauge
1x System filling loop
The vessel kit can also be a viable option where it the existing pressure vessel fitted inside the boiler has failed, and replacing it would involve a considerable amount of time stripping down the boiler to access the vessel. Instead this vessel can be added onto the system, thereby restoring the expansion capacity in the heating circuit.

Expansion vessels are water storage tanks which protect heating and hot water systems from excessive pressure, as the system pressure builds as the water is heated. Within a pressure vessel is a rubber diaphragm (membrane) behind which a volume of air is contained, on the other side of the membrane is the system water. As the water heats and expands, the air is compressed, allowing the system pressure to safely increase within risk of burst pipework or appliances.
