<p>Sludge and Flux Remover or XP-3 is the expert&#39;s choice for general purpose system cleaning, designed especially with extensive pipework and radiatiors in mind. Sludge and Flux Remover is specifically designed for neutralising and cleaning systems of flux, debris, sludge, oils and grease.</p> <p>Sludge and Flux Remover also flocculates magnetite sludge and particulate residues to facilitate their easy removal.</p> <p>Ensure you dose your system at 1%. Use 1 Litre of Sludge and Flux Remover to every 100 litres of water. Using more than 1 litre isn&#39;t recommended, but it won&#39;t pose a risk to your system. To clean an existing system, leave all valves open, and allow Sludge and Flux Remover to circulate the system at room temperature for at least two hours. Finish cirtculating when system performance is restored. For badly-fouled systems, it is recommended to circulate for a few weeks at a time. Once complete, be sure to flush the system before refilling and treating with Expert Range Corrosion Inhibitor.</p> <h3>Open Systems</h3> <p>With an open system, you should add Sludge and Flux Remover via a feed and expansion cistern using a bypass feeder or dosing vessel.</p> <h3>Sealed Systems</h3> <p>If your sealed system is full, you should inject Sludge and Flux Remover through the filling loop or alternatively, any other appropriate access point.<br /> If your system is empty, simply add the Sludge and Flux Remover wherever is convenient. Once in your system, you may proceed to fill with water.</p> <h3>Exposure Controls</h3> <p>Avoid all unnecessary exposure. Wear protective gloves, appropriate mask and chemical goggles or saftey glasses.</p>
